This is a marvelous example of Kammer and Reinhardt’s 114, called Gretchen. She has gorgeous perfect bisque, her original body retains all original finish, she wears her original wig and she is fully dressed in all antique clothing and boots. Layaway is always an option. Here are the details:

Head: Her bisque is perfect with no cracks, chips or hairlines. She is sharply molded and painted with the most realistic melancholy expression. She is marked simply K*R 114, and low in the neck socket 43, which is her size number in centimeters. These K*R dolls are known for having very well-glued wigs, and this doll still has two dabs of persistent wig glue. I will continue my attempts to remove them. Examination: she has a short common mold flaw behind one ear and a very faint rub. Nothing else to report – very nice.

Body: her original body retains all of the original finish. The shine on her hands has worn away, but otherwise, this body is in remarkable condition.

Clothes: She is fully dressed in clothing that appears to be all antique and/or original. She wears the most wonderful white-work dress with rows of blue hand-embroidery. It closes in back with MOP buttons. Underneath she wears an under-shier, half-slip and bloomers. She has great fancy knit stockings and white leather ankle boots. The boots are worn but I love them.
